Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Handler's card
  • Minimum of 1 year sous chef or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
  • Ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to train and supervise hourly food service associates
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Food Handler's card preferred
  • Previous sous chef experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule Wednesday through Sunday
  • Culinary degree or relevant culinary training is an advantage

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
  • Keeps up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks product production, consumption and waste
  • Informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
