Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant culinary or kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to work full time
  • food handlers permit required or must obtain
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • capable of multitasking and working independently
  • reliable and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college or culinary training preferred
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • must hold a managers food handlers permit or be willing to obtain
  • experience in office environment or customer service preferred
  • self-motivated and organized
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Hire and train line cooks and dishwashers under the director of F&B
  • place food and supply orders
  • complete and document safety audits and monthly in-service trainings
  • ensure correct plate presentation prior to dishes leaving the kitchen
  • oversee kitchen labor and food cost
  • monitor budget
  • prepare high quality food
