Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience working under an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a restaurant setting
- ServSafe Certification required
- NYC Food Handler Certificate preferred
- advanced degree or culinary training in a college program preferred
- working knowledge of state and local health and safety regulations
- demonstrated ability in a wide range of culinary skills
- ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Duties
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the memory care floors and the main kitchen and culinary team
- coordinating and facilitating cooking-related activities for residents such as baking cookies and making smoothies
- creating a warm and inviting dining atmosphere for memory care residents
- overseeing front and back of house kitchen and dining room operations on memory care floors
- collaborating with Memory Care and Culinary leaders to meet company standards
- assisting residents during meals and culinary experiences
- managing the flow of food and meals from the main kitchen to memory care dining areas
- ensuring kitchens and dining rooms are fully stocked with supplies
- liaising with the main kitchen to order and replenish supplies
- conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining stock levels
- setting and clearing tables before and after meals
- maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas
- recording food temperatures and ensuring health and safety compliance
- soliciting feedback from residents and their families to improve ambiance
- providing outstanding customer service to residents and visitors
- being flexible with work schedule to accommodate special events and evening/weekend programs
- assisting with the execution of special events
