Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior culinary experience required
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with days varying from early morning to afternoon
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers and staff
  • Available to work at the designated location in Houston, Texas

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary actions
  • Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstations thoroughly
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisors
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks product production, consumption, and waste, and informs supervisors when supplies are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
