Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience required
- Must have experience in food safety procedures
- Ability to work full-time Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Must be able to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Ability to handle customer interactions professionally and courteously
- Must comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in foodservice
- Experience with food safety procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work within a scheduled full-time weekday shift
- Knowledge of food production and kitchen operations
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews
- Stores food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
- Keeps up with peak production and service hours
- Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- Tracks product production, consumption and waste
- Informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
