Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of previous culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and manage food service associates
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work full-time schedule including varying hours Monday through Friday
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to kitchen work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of previous culinary experience preferred
  • Experience supervising or managing kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings and evenings
  • Culinary degree or certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • Stores food following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and communicates with supervisor
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and explains them accurately
  • Keeps up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries and informs supervisor when supplies or products are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
