Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years of previous culinary experience preferred
- Ability to supervise and manage food service associates
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work full-time schedule including varying hours Monday through Friday
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to kitchen work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years of previous culinary experience preferred
- Experience supervising or managing kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings and evenings
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
- Stores food following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and communicates with supervisor
- Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and explains them accurately
- Keeps up with peak production and service hours
- Monitors inventory and deliveries and informs supervisor when supplies or products are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
