Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience in an open kitchen preferred
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and manage kitchen staff
  • Able to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced foodservice environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience in an open kitchen preferred
  • Ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
  • Skilled in supervising and training food service associates
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Experience managing inventory and controlling waste
  • Ability to work efficiently during peak production periods

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstation before leaving
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
  • Keeps up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks usage and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
