Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen management experience preferred
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Must be able to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the job satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen management experience preferred
  • Experience supervising food service staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to manage inventory and control waste
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work early morning shift hours
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisor
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies and tracks product production, consumption and waste
  • Performs other duties as assigned
