Job Requirements

  • Previous catering experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Capability to supervise food service associates effectively
  • Willingness to work full-time with schedule flexibility
  • Compliance with all food safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous catering experience preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action as needed
  • Store food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils, and clean workstation thoroughly
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and explain them accurately to associates and customers
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, track production, consumption and waste, and inform supervisor when supplies are low
  • Perform other duties as assigned
