Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of cooking experience
- At least two years of kitchen management experience preferred
- Ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Capacity to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ability to interact professionally with customers
- Capability to manage inventory and track product usage
- Availability to work full-time schedule, days may vary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years cooking experience
- At least 2 years of kitchen management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and train kitchen staff
- Proficiency in inventory management
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participation in reviews and recommending disciplinary actions as appropriate
- Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils including cleaning workstations and display equipment during meal service
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information directly to supervisor
- Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
- Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies, tracks product production, consumption, and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
