Job Requirements
- Commercial kitchen management experience is required
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including varied hours
- Knowledge of corporate, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to manage inventory and control waste
- Reliable transportation to work location
Job Qualifications
- Commercial kitchen management experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary education or relevant certifications preferred
- Experience with inventory management and production tracking
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participation in reviews and disciplinary recommendations
- Stores food according to corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstations thoroughly
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisor
- Demonstrates full knowledge of daily menu items and explains them accurately to associates and customers
- Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks product production, consumption, and waste, and informs supervisor of supply shortages
- Performs other duties as assigned
