Job Requirements

  • Prior catering sous chef experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Capability to manage and supervise food service associates
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying work hours

Job Qualifications

  • Prior catering sous chef experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to supervise and manage kitchen staff
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with inventory management and food production tracking
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food presentation and quality
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, training, and counseling
  • Store food following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
  • Track product production, consumption, and waste
  • Perform other duties as assigned
