Job Requirements
- Prior sous chef experience or similar role
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
- Must be able to perform kitchen duties including food preparation and supervision
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to interact positively with customers and associates
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior sous chef experience or similar role required
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare food according to standard recipes and production schedules
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
- Stores food following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
