Job Requirements

  • At least five years of Sous Chef experience
  • Ability to work full-time rotating schedule
  • Must be able to work every other weekend
  • Experience with food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and food quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of Sous Chef experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work a full-time rotating schedule including every other weekend
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in a healthcare or similar foodservice environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance management
  • Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies and track product production, consumption, and waste
  • Perform other duties as assigned
