Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience in a Sous Chef role or similar
  • Ability to follow menus and recipes accurately
  • Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work shifts including weekends
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Two years of previous experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent
  • Knowledge of dietary standards and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food following menus and recipes in line with dietary practices
  • Ensure high quality and excellent dining experience for residents
  • Work under supervision of department director or supervisor
  • Promote person-centered care by treating community as residents' home
  • Participate actively in residents' and families' lives
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas
  • Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff
