Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 to 8 years supervisory experience
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • ability to work with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • management and leadership skills
  • ability to handle confidential information
  • completion of specified Huntsville Hospital Corporate University classes within six months

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • supervisory experience of 2 to 8 years in food service or related field
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • management and leadership abilities
  • proficiency in mathematical concepts relevant to food service
  • ability to organize and plan effectively
  • knowledge of confidentiality protocols

Job Duties

  • Coordinate activities of chefs and kitchen staff engaged in food preparation
  • direct training of food production workers to ensure quality and efficiency
  • ensure profitable food service operations through effective management
  • communicate effectively with clients, customers, and support staff both verbally and in writing
  • apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • maintain confidentiality of employee and client information
  • complete required corporate university classes within six months
