Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 to 8 years supervisory experience
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- ability to work with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- management and leadership skills
- ability to handle confidential information
- completion of specified Huntsville Hospital Corporate University classes within six months
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- supervisory experience of 2 to 8 years in food service or related field
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- management and leadership abilities
- proficiency in mathematical concepts relevant to food service
- ability to organize and plan effectively
- knowledge of confidentiality protocols
Job Duties
- Coordinate activities of chefs and kitchen staff engaged in food preparation
- direct training of food production workers to ensure quality and efficiency
- ensure profitable food service operations through effective management
- communicate effectively with clients, customers, and support staff both verbally and in writing
- apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- maintain confidentiality of employee and client information
- complete required corporate university classes within six months
