Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of supervisor experience in a relevant food service environment
  • Ability to train and lead kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage inventory and assist with purchasing

Job Duties

  • Train team members including cooks, pre cooks, and support kitchen staff on job responsibilities
  • Process requisitions accurately and place them in designated areas
  • Label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Monitor and ensure food quality consistently meets standards
  • Communicate effectively with management and service staff to address guest and employee needs
  • Assist the Executive Chef with purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists, and inventory management
  • Support the Executive Chef in setting goals related to profit, product quality, and team development
