Job Requirements

  • 21 years old or older
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years prior relevant supervisor experience
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory and purchasing processes

Job Duties

  • Train team including cooks, pre cooks, and support kitchen staff on job responsibilities
  • Process requisitions accurately and ensure correct placement
  • Label and date all food products for safety and sanitation
  • Monitor and maintain food quality standards
  • Collaborate effectively with management and service staff to address guest and employee needs
  • Assist the Executive Chef with purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists, and inventory management
  • Support the Executive Chef in setting goals related to profit, product quality, and team development
