Job Requirements

  • associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or minimum of one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • current ServSafe certification or capable of passing ServSafe within 90 days
  • ability to prepare, read and comprehend documents
  • ability to write reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and groups
  • ability to accurately calculate figures and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems
  • must qualify for required licenses or permits
  • physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform various physical work activities

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • minimum of one-year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • current certification for ServSafe or ability to pass ServSafe within 90 days

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment

  • develop, maintain and manage training programs
  • oversee and direct preparation of food products with emphasis on pastry products

  • oversee rotation and proper storage of food items
  • develop and suggest recipes and menus for catering and sales
  • use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • assist in operation of other food and beverage venues
  • handle customer complaints and support customer service programs
  • manage standards of excellence among team members
  • adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
  • determine types of products, materials, supplies or tools to be used
  • supervise attendance and time records of team members
  • manage departmental expenses including labor costs
  • supervise work processes of team members
