Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in culinary arts or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five years of culinary management experience in a fine dining setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel
  • Ability to understand and manage food cost and labor
  • Strong kitchen organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts and days off in a dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in culinary arts or equivalent work experience
  • Five plus years of culinary management experience in a fine dining environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills with an emphasis on Excel
  • Deep understanding of cost management and restaurant operations ownership
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Knowledge of quality ingredients and fine dining execution
  • Familiarity with wine pairing and current service trends
  • Understanding of nutrition and dietary preferences
  • Experience in guest service roles such as bartender or server
  • Higher-level education preferred

Job Duties

  • Cook at the highest culinary level to deliver exceptional fine dining experiences
  • Lead and develop a culinary team by providing motivation, support, and education
  • Collaborate effectively with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest service
  • Write and implement seasonally inspired menus that reflect diverse cuisine styles
  • Manage kitchen operations including food cost and labor to optimize efficiency
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers such as artisans, farmers, and fishmongers
  • Communicate the vision and standards of the Signature Restaurants to all team members
