Job Requirements

  • Full availability to work days nights and weekends

  • Basic math skills for portioning and inventory management

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and house-made pasta techniques preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and mathematical calculations
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage

Job Duties

  • Oversee the preparation of food to order ensuring quality speed and taste
  • Ensure recipes and procedures are followed maintaining attention to detail
  • Supervise kitchen personnel promoting professionalism and high standards
  • Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Collaborate with vendors and front-of-house staff to coordinate service
  • Maintain inventory control and assist with ordering supplies
  • Support and train kitchen team members fostering a positive work environment
