Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Basic math skills for portion control and inventory
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work well within a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Basic computer skills for administrative tasks

Job Duties

  • Oversee preparation of food to order ensuring high quality speed and taste
  • Ensure recipes and procedures are accurately followed
  • Supervise kitchen personnel maintaining professionalism and standards
  • Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff and vendors
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
