Job Requirements
- Associate degree in culinary or related field
- minimum two years culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum one year previous supervisory experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- strong mathematical skills
- ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically and tactfully

Job Duties
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to culinary staff
- support and administer operational goals
- monitor achievement of performance and profit objectives
- adhere to scheduling and coordinate with management
- produce menu items according to standard preparation lists
- ensure kitchens are stocked and ready for service
- support compliance with departmental budgets
- promote superior customer service standards
- maintain cost control methods and inventory monitoring
- assist with administrative duties including attendance tracking
- ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues
- maintain confidentiality of company matters
- contribute to staff development and training programs
- administer rewards and recognition programs
- evaluate team members and provide performance feedback
- recommend staffing actions including hiring and scheduling
- manage work procedures and expedite workflow
- provide recommendations for employee discipline, coaching, and counseling
