Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- prior experience in culinary or kitchen management
- ability to manage cost controls and expenditures
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- ability to work flexible hours including travel
- effective supervisory skills
- proficiency with computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- willingness to learn and participate in new culinary initiatives
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience preferred
- high-volume, complex foodservice operations experience
- knowledge of food and catering trends
- computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction initiatives
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and overall expenditures for the account
- participate in planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company's marketing and culinary teams
- supervise and prepare food items
- manage ordering and inventory
- oversee hourly associate staff
