Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • prior experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • ability to manage cost controls and expenditures
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work flexible hours including travel
  • effective supervisory skills
  • proficiency with computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • willingness to learn and participate in new culinary initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • high-volume, complex foodservice operations experience
  • knowledge of food and catering trends
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction initiatives
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and overall expenditures for the account
  • participate in planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company's marketing and culinary teams
  • supervise and prepare food items
  • manage ordering and inventory
  • oversee hourly associate staff
