Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality production sanitation and food cost control
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools
  • willingness to travel as needed
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • high-volume complex foodservice operations experience strongly preferred
  • knowledge of food and catering trends
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and internet tools
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and overall expenditures for the account
  • participate in planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the companys marketing and culinary teams
  • supervise hourly associates in kitchen operations
  • ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • support inventory management and ordering processes
