Job Requirements

  • Two years of relevant Sous Chef experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work in fast-paced hospitality environments
  • strong leadership capabilities
  • effective communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to uphold health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of Sous Chef experience in hotel or banquet settings
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of culinary trends and regional tastes
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with food safety and sanitation standards
  • familiarity with menu planning and cost control
  • background in fine dining or convention center kitchens is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary operations
  • manage preparation and production of hotel meals
  • ensure food quality and presentation standards
  • maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • supervise and develop kitchen team performance
  • implement policies, cost controls, and maintain profitability
  • create and execute menus for special banquet events
