Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Valid state driver’s license
- Clean and safe DMV driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or culinary role
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work long standing periods
- Adherence to dress code and safety policies
- Compliance with HSEQ standards
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar Sous Chef or culinary supervisory role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP
- Experience in inventory management and food cost control
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with OSHA and Health Department regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Commitment to customer service excellence
Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
- Utilize food preparation procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and human resources
- Monitor and review HACCP logs
- Assemble ready-to-eat menu items following company standards for presentation, packaging, and labeling
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following all regulatory and company guidelines
- Support management with monthly inventory and notify management of concerns regarding product quantities, food or equipment safety
- Drive delivery vehicle to transport prepared foods to various sites according to schedule
- Attend required meetings and report accidents and injuries promptly
- Train and supervise kitchen staff ensuring proper uniform and training documentation
- Maintain food cost within budget and monitor labor costs
- Oversee cafe presentation and daily upkeep ensuring adherence to company standards
- Manage customer interactions professionally and resolve complaints friendly and efficiently
