Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience required
- Preferred food service or Culinary Arts degree
- Minimum 2 years related supervisory culinary work experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Must have well-rounded food background, administrative and people skills
- Must have extensive knowledge of all kitchen equipment
- Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct

Job Duties
- Evaluate current needs, past experiences, and forecasted business conditions to allocate resources and achieve financial and service goals
- Monitor and evaluate food preparation ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Collaborate with Restaurant Manager to develop menus for large parties meeting client requests and cost requirements
- Select, schedule, direct, supervise, train, and develop culinary staff
- Create and determine costs associated with menus and specials
- Develop and maintain recipe cards and specifications to ensure quality, consistency, portion control, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with all department and company rules and regulations
- Monitor kitchen sanitation, storage, and rotation of stock
- Develop and manage departmental budgets
- Maintain quality and organization of food outlets
- Oversee food purchasing, inventory, receiving, and storage
- Organize outlets for efficient and appetizing service while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in other kitchens within the Casino as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas with proper closing procedures
- Attend periodic meetings and training
- Manage Point of Sale or other inventory control systems
- Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times
- Present a neat and professional appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
