Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of culinary leadership experience
  • proven track record in team development and mentoring
  • strong skills in menu creation and kitchen management systems
  • excellent organizational and operational skills
  • previous hotel culinary experience preferred
  • union leadership experience preferred
  • proficiency with payroll, scheduling, inventory, and cost control software
  • ability to foster a positive team environment and motivate staff

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the culinary team at Diplomat Prime
  • oversee kitchen operations including payroll, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control
  • develop and mentor culinary staff to build a high-performance team
  • create innovative menu options aligning with food trends and regional tastes
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine on food quality and presentation standards
  • maintain team accountability and promote a culture of creativity and collaboration
