Job Requirements

  • Certification in food safety preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift trays and dishes and occasionally move tables and furniture
  • Effective communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Commitment to assisting residents with daily living activities

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, plan and plate food for meals and special events
  • Assist with ordering food supplies and managing inventory
  • Accommodate residents' dietary needs and preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
  • Ensure food safety standards and regulations are followed
  • Support daily living activities by providing timely meal service
