Job Requirements
- culinary degree or equivalent apprenticeship program
- 2-3 years of management experience in high-volume or contract food service
- ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- strong leadership and management capability
- customer service skills
- flexibility to work extended shifts
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- high attention to detail
- ability to work collaboratively in team settings
Job Qualifications
- culinary degree or graduate of a certified apprenticeship program
- minimum 2-3 years management experience in high-volume venues or contract food service for sports and entertainment venues
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
- strong leadership and management skills
- demonstrated initiative
- customer service oriented
- ability to interact with all levels of management
- proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- high level of attention to detail and organization

Job Duties
- assist the executive chef in planning and developing menu items and recipes for concessions, catering, and premium locations
- assist in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
- aid the executive chef in maintaining the highest possible health department rating
- assist in training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention controls within the kitchen
- help develop and test recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
- assure consistent food quality in presentation and preparation
- control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control
- ensure all recipes and methods are followed
- maintain kitchen equipment
- report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices
- contribute to the creation of menu specifications including pricing
- work directly with the executive chef on food production and menu development
- conduct meetings and pre-shifts to update staff on daily goals and objectives
- perform other duties as assigned by the executive chef
