Job Requirements

  • Culinary associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Two years of similar food and beverage chef and cooking experience
  • Ability to work a varied shift to include weekends holidays and evenings

Job Duties

  • Oversee product consistency and make necessary modifications according to business needs
  • Multifaceted decision making in collaboration with the Chef and department executives including proper ordering guest assistance and working with the front of the house
  • Manage employee payroll scheduling training and discipline
  • Conduct training for Master cooks cooks pantry workers helpers and kitchen workers on job responsibilities
  • Assist Executive Room Chef by controlling food and labor costs establish goals and objectives that focus on profit product and people
  • Assist in overseeing kitchen-related activities pertaining to the normal operation of the restaurant menu and staff
  • Create read measure and execute recipes and new daily specials
