Job Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years previous experience in a culinary/food and beverage line position
  • One to two years in a supervisory or assistant manager position
  • Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in the planning and development of consistent service of food items to be prepared
  • Effectively manage labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing decisions
  • Ensure that sanitation standards, as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, are in compliance with Four Seasons, local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain control systems to assure quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments to meet purchasing specifications, and foster awareness of food preparation importance
  • Communicate with employees and managers to meet operational needs and attend operational meetings for effective coordination
  • Direct the work of kitchen employees to ensure superior food quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and management team for menu planning and kitchen efficiency
