Job Requirements
- High school diploma and Culinary Arts training required
- Serv Safe certification required
- At least 3 years of relevant culinary and supervisory experience with a focus on catering or event food service
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Culinary arts degree or ACF certification preferred
- Serv Safe certification required
- HACCP training preferred

- At least 3 years of relevant culinary and supervisory experience with a focus on catering or event food service
- Experience preferably within a retirement community or hospital
Job Duties
- Planning and preparing meals for catered events alongside the Executive Chef and Dining Director
- Leading catering staff in food production, presentation, and service
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP and sanitation standards
- Maintaining food quality, inventory control, and proper storage practices
- Managing supplies and equipment efficiently to reduce waste and loss
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and event spaces
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate event logistics
