Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen leadership role
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a sous chef or strong lead line cook
- Skilled in seafood preparation and general kitchen operations
- Ability to manage a busy kitchen service
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to consistency and efficiency
- Culinary education is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen during prep and service, ensuring quality and consistency
- Support day-to-day operations including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and staff supervision
- Train and mentor line cooks and prep team members
- Help develop daily specials and seasonal menu items
- Maintain strong communication between FOH and BOH
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and organization are always top priority
