Job Requirements

  • Must have culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in kitchen management and supervising staff
  • Ability to perform high volume cooking and catering
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction initiatives
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • Catering experience preferred
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • Strong understanding of food and catering trends
  • Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervise hourly associates and kitchen staff
  • Ensure food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards are maintained
  • Participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
