Job Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred
- experience with financial management including ability to understand P and L statements manage operating budgets forecasting and scheduling

Job Duties
- Performs all duties of culinary and related kitchen area associates to train new associates and assist during high demand times
- supervises daily shift operations and oversees production and preparation of culinary items
- opens and closes kitchen shifts ensuring completion of assigned duties
- maintains food handling and sanitation standards
- works with restaurant and banquet departments to coordinate service and timing
- assists with developing menus and promotions
- operates all department equipment and reports malfunctions
- purchases supplies and manages inventories according to budget
- supervises staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives
- understands and implements safety standards
- develops and enforces cleaning schedules for associates
- ensures proper supplies equipment and uniforms for associates
- communicates needed area attention and follows up for resolution
- trains associates in safety procedures and supervises emergency procedure execution
- participates in investigation of associate accidents
- complies with loss prevention policies and procedures
- oversees stewarding team and collaborates on hiring standards
- ensures clean and safe kitchens in all outlets
- coordinates banquet china glass and silver preparation delivery cleaning storage and inventory
- maintains back dock cleanliness and organization
- ensures adequate cleaning chemical supplies and compliance with safety programs for chemical handling and disposal
