Job Qualifications

  • Experience in supervisory roles within the hospitality or food service industry
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Familiarity with budget management and cost control procedures
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in food service
  • Administrative skills for record-keeping and compliance tracking
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all matters

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager regarding guest satisfaction concerns
  • Produce menu items as listed in each restaurant and ensure kitchens are stocked and ready for service
  • Support compliance to departmental budgets
  • Actively promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with maintaining cost control by monitoring inventory and pars
  • Assist Chef de Cuisine with administrative duties such as tracking attendance records
  • Support quality assurance procedures to meet Health Department and customer service standards
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within area of authority and report potential issues to management
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in departmental and company matters
