Job Requirements

  • Is 21 plus years of age
  • 2 plus years of leadership in a culinary setting
  • preferably has experience in baking bread at high volumes
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
  • restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
  • label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • maintain production knowledge and attention to detail with decoration and taste quality
  • assist Pastry Chef, other Assistant Pastry Chefs, bakers, and helpers as needed in execution of production
  • conduct training for bakers and helpers on job responsibilities
  • communicate with management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees
  • assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling food and labor cost, and establish goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people
  • assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling of purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen items
