Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary experience preferably in a hotel or resort setting
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to comply with health and safety standards
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated customer focus

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a supervisory culinary role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Creativity in menu development

Job Duties

  • Assist in direction and oversight of all culinary operations including meal preparation and production
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations
  • Monitor and enhance team member productivity and performance
  • Implement policies and procedures related to kitchen operations
  • Assist with menu creation for special banquets and events
  • Provide supervision, training, scheduling, and evaluation of culinary staff
