Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant culinary experience especially in a commercial kitchen
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capable of lifting and moving food items and containers up to own height
  • adherence to client and company covid-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to follow detailed instructions

Job Qualifications

  • experience in cooking and food preparation
  • knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to read and comprehend food recipes production orders and cooking instructions
  • experience in banquet or catering production preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • positive can-do attitude
  • basic supervisory skills

Job Duties

  • produce prepare and cook foods including soups sauces salads entrees and catering items as directed by the chef manager
  • set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as determined by supervisor
  • assist management in purchasing inventory control and training
  • maintain a clean and safe work area following health safety and food handling regulations
  • provide exemplary customer service in a courteous helpful manner at all times
