Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
- experience in high volume, complex foodservice environments
- catering experience preferred
- institutional or batch cooking experience a plus
- strong knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer use
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction initiatives
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in managing food cost controls and overall kitchen expenses
- lead menu planning, development, and daily production for the Home Office cafe
- oversee ordering, inventory, and product quality
- supervise and support culinary team members
- execute catering events from preparation through service
- implement new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary leadership
- ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
