Job Requirements

  • two years of supervisory experience required
  • ability to work full time monday through friday with varying hours
  • knowledge of corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation standards
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist executive chef with food preparation and cooking
  • cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews
  • store food according to food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and workstations
  • interact with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner
  • monitor inventory and deliveries, track production, consumption, and waste
  • perform other duties as assigned
