Job Requirements
- Culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience
- minimum 3-5 years of kitchen experience
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- experience in restaurants, hotels, or country clubs preferred
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
Job Qualifications
- Culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience preferred
- minimum 3-5 years of kitchen experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- experience working in restaurants, hotels, or country clubs is highly desirable
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required
Job Duties
- Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and food production
- supervise and support kitchen staff including line cooks and prep cooks
- ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
- support the preparation and execution of restaurant service, banquets, tournaments, and special events
- maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- assist with inventory management, food ordering, and product rotation
- help manage portion control, waste reduction, and food cost awareness
- maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- provide leadership and guidance to culinary team members during service
