Job Requirements

  • Culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience
  • minimum 3-5 years of kitchen experience
  • leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • experience in restaurants, hotels, or country clubs preferred
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience preferred
  • minimum 3-5 years of kitchen experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • experience working in restaurants, hotels, or country clubs is highly desirable
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required

Job Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and food production
  • supervise and support kitchen staff including line cooks and prep cooks
  • ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
  • support the preparation and execution of restaurant service, banquets, tournaments, and special events
  • maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • assist with inventory management, food ordering, and product rotation
  • help manage portion control, waste reduction, and food cost awareness
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • provide leadership and guidance to culinary team members during service
