Job Requirements

  • Previous related experience required
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with varied hours including some nights and weekends
  • Must pass background screening as applicable
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Previous related experience in a culinary or food service environment
  • Experience supervising and training staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to prepare food following standardized recipes and production procedures
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage inventory and control waste

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • Stores food following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them
  • Keeps up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries, informs supervisor when supplies are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
