Job Requirements
- Previous related experience required
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with varied hours including some nights and weekends
- Must pass background screening as applicable
- Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous related experience in a culinary or food service environment
- Experience supervising and training staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to prepare food following standardized recipes and production procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to manage inventory and control waste
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
- Stores food following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them
- Keeps up with peak production and service hours
- Monitors inventory and deliveries, informs supervisor when supplies are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
