Job Requirements

  • Culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of kitchen experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, or country clubs preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of kitchen experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or country clubs is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and food production
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff including line cooks and prep cooks
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
  • Support the preparation and execution of restaurant service, banquets, tournaments, and special events
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and product rotation
  • Help manage portion control, waste reduction, and food cost awareness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Provide leadership and guidance to culinary team members during service
