Job Qualifications

  • Experienced culinary professional with Sous Chef level or equivalent leadership experience
  • confident in technique, food safety, and kitchen organization
  • comfortable in catering and event-based environments or excited to grow into one
  • calm, dependable, and clear-headed under pressure
  • strong communicator who values collaboration
  • flexible, solutions-oriented, and willing to pitch in where needed
  • available for evenings, weekends, and occasional daytime hours
  • pride in work and care about the guest experience

Job Duties

  • Support the Chef in planning, prepping, and executing catered events and culinary experiences
  • lead kitchen operations during events when the Chef is off-site or managing multiple services
  • assist with menu development, testing, and refinement
  • ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet Around the Table standards
  • manage prep schedules, timelines, and service flow
  • maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment
  • assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving
  • help train and support kitchen staff and event support team members
  • adapt confidently to different event formats, locations, and service styles
