Job Requirements

  • at least 3 years of experience
  • ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • availability for full-time schedule with varied days and hours
  • capability to comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • experience in supervising kitchen staff

Job Qualifications

  • at least 3 years of experience as a sous chef or in a similar culinary role
  • strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage inventory and control food costs
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • capability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Duties

  • cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action
  • stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
