Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • post-secondary culinary training preferred
  • 3 to 5 years experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision
  • Serve Safe Management certification
  • strong team management and delegation skills
  • effective issue resolution and coaching abilities
  • organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • proficiency in speaking, reading, and comprehending instructions and policies
  • ability to communicate comfortably with individuals

Job Duties

  • Assist in supervising the day to day activities of kitchen staff
  • assign responsibilities for specified work

  • promote safety and sanitation
  • inspect all food products handling
  • establish and maintain safe practices
  • follow HACCP procedures
  • assist with menu planning
  • manage inventory and supplies
  • maintain effective cost control, service, and quality standards to maximize sales and profits
  • comply with company and franchise standards and regulatory requirements
  • ensure products are prepared and presented according to brand standards
  • serve as a resource for resolving complex problems and issues
  • provide recommendations for hiring, firing, advancement, and promotion of associates
