Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a cook or similar culinary role
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math and measurement abilities
  • Food safety certification if not previously obtained

Job Qualifications

  • Past experience working as a cook or in a similar culinary position
  • Comprehensive understanding of food preparation principles and cooking techniques
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Certification for food safety if required
  • Fundamental arithmetic and numerical abilities
  • Skillful in communication and teamwork
  • Attaining a high school diploma or its equivalent is favored though not compulsory

Job Duties

  • Prepare a range of dishes according to set recipes and guidelines for production
  • Prepare workstations by organizing required ingredients and utensils
  • Arrange ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending, and similar tasks
  • Properly use various kitchen utensils and equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers to ensure safety
  • Employ a variety of cooking techniques like baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming to prepare diverse meals
  • Organize and ornament dishes based on defined expectations for presentation aesthetics
  • Adhere to specified food safety procedures and store food appropriately
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Deliver top-notch customer support with a positive demeanor
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols diligently
  • Ensure the safety of corporate valuables
